So I've been a wee bit busy over the past few weeks but I've managed to fit in some cakes. Hope you like. I received a phone a few weeks ago from a lady who wanted a birthday cake for her mother. Her mums favorite flowers are yellow roses and she wanted a very plain and simple cake decorated with life size yellow roses.

She was delighted with the cake and she sent me a text to tell me that her mum loved the cake and that it was delicious. She also sent me a photo of her mum with the cake which was great. It's always good to get feedback. Some rose cupcakes ordered for a friends birthday. The lady that ordered them was really pleased and she made

a repeat order the following week for another friend. It's not all been roses though. A very good friend of mine was having a significant birthday and his wife ordered a cake which of course I was delighted to make. He's very keen on all things outdoorsy and this is what I came up with.

The party was great and the cake went down a storm.
