This cake was for a 21st birthday. The lady who ordered it mentioned that the girl liked camping, wine and her boyfriend (not necessarily in that order). This is what I came up with.
(Again the photo was taken on my camera so it's a bit rubbishy)

Sharpay Cake
I didn't know who Sharpay was so I had to do a bit of research. She's a character from High School Musical and is very girlie and likes a bit of bling. I hope I did her justice!
(The photo's a bit of a disaster as I had to use my phone)

Donald and Mickey
I been asked for a birthday cake for a little girl who was mad about Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. In my wisdom I thought it would be a great idea if I made them in sugar rather than getting a picture of them printed onto icing. It was a tough job as both characters are so well known I had to get them just right. I think I did a pretty good job though.
Here's what they looked like on the cake.
Peppa's Brother
This is Peppa Pigs brother, George. This cake is a 10" vanilla cake covered with buttercream and decorated with handmade sugar figures.
Roses
Another 10" fruit cake but for a Golden Wedding Anniversary this time. Went a bit plain and simple with this one and added some roses (first ones I've ever made). I was really pleased with them and thought the cake looked great.
Hill Walking Cake
This is a 10" fruit cake which I made for a couple celebrating their Ruby wedding Anniversary. They are very keen walkers and the lady who ordered the cake wanted me to design something with that in mind. She loved it so much she sent me a thankyou card which made my day.

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers
An 8" vanilla sponge decorated with lots of handmade sugar flowers.
An 8" carrot cake with cream cheese forsting decorated with yet more handemade sugar flowers.
A Cake Made In A Hurry
This was a joint birthday cake that I made for my sister and my son whose birthdays are very close together. We had a family picnic to celebrate and I made this cake in a bit of a rush as I had a huge order for Su Casa that day as well.
Mairi really liked my take on the Orla Kiely design and you can just about see the racing car I made for Conal.
It's an 8" vanilla sponge cake.
Conal's Birthday Cake
Not the best picture and the background leaves a lot to be desired but this is a birthday cake for a very special wee fella who turned 6 recently.
At his request it's an 8" chocolate mud cake decorated with hand made fondant figure.

Peppa Pig
I had so much fun making this cake. It's a 10" vanilla cake decorated with vanilla buttercream and handmade sugar decorations.
Angelika's Very Special Birthday
This was a birthday cake I made for a very nice lady. She loves carrot cake and so I made a 12" carrot cake with cream cheese icing decorated with handmade springtime flowers. She also ordered chocolate and vanilla cupcakes for the children who were coming to the party. These were also decorated with springtime flowers. She was delighted with it. So delighted that she then ordered a further two 8" carrot cakes for friends who couldn't make it to her party.
Fearghus and Duncan
Friends of the wee fellas had a birthday recently and their mum asked me to make a big delicious chocolate cake. This was a 10 inch chocolate mud cake with handmade sugar decorations. It is a terrible photo and my appologies for it but big fella wasn't around at the time to take one for me.
Carrot Cake
I've been supplying Su Casa, a cafe in Ayr, for a while now with various cakes and desserts and according to Lucas and Ben the carrot cake is a big hit.
